Meet the amazing leaders behind this club!
president
Shannon Thomas
Hi! I’m a sophomore majoring in International Relations and minoring in Mandarin. I have been involved with the Rotary since high school and pride myself on creating an engaged and networking community of people to do community service projects. Getting involved and helping others thrive has long been a mission of mine. I aim to make as much of an impact wherever I go, creating a lasting positive effect in every community I serve. Other than having a strong passion for community service I also strive to spread mental health awareness and advocate against the use of drugs and alcohol in teens, often serving the Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute, being a Teen Ambassador for my hometown's Health Department, and being a founding member of their action team aiming to end the stigma around mental health and advocating against drugs and alcohol.

Ary Katial
Hey everyone! My name is Aryan Katial and I’m a freshman majoring in Economics and double-minoring in Data Science and Chinese. One of my biggest personal values is to be global citizen. I want to raise awareness about different situations around the world and work with a team to address them. That’s exactly why I am in Rotaract. Not only will I be making a difference, but I will also have so much fun doing it. I have lots of family history with Rotary, as I’ve been involved with them since 5th grade. With Rotary, I have done some amazing global projects, such as helping orphanage girls in India, hosting a Meet-&-Greet with Permanent U.S Ambassador for NATO, Julianne Smith, and raising funds to aid earthquake victims in Türkiye. Apart from organizing service projects, I love traveling, dancing, listening to music, and drinking iced chai and coffee.

Hey!! My name is Jessica Hurst, but you can just call me Jess. I am a sophomore studying Human Biology on the pre-PA track! I have been volunteering since high school, and it makes me so happy to be involved and help out in the community. I love being a part of Rotaract since it gives me the opportunity to meet new people in my area and allows me to gain diverse hands-on experience, especially with work I have not encountered before. A few fun facts about myself are that I have a dorm cat named Millie, I love architecture, and reading poetry.
